Dividend Income Update – January 2018

Another month has passed by, and it’s time for me to post the dividends that Skyy earned in the month of January. It’s hard to argue the success of long-term dividend growth investing when you can slowly and surely see dividend income rise over time and get closer to covering your family expenses.

I hope these monthly dividend income reports provide inspiration for any investors out there that are just starting out. It shows that it’s possible to one day pay for monthly expenses with dividends, which would provide an investor opportunities and freedom to pursue other interests than full-time work.

What you’ll see below is a list of every dividend Skyy collected over the prior month, which company paid the dividend and the amount of the dividend.

I know a few of my posts will be late as I have gotten a quarter of a year behind, but the beginning of 2018 was off to a Great start. Also the Tax Reform Bill was passed and approved for the year of 2018. I believe the new Tax Bill will keep the Markets near all time highs/ we won’t go into a Bear Market until at least 2019, but only time will tell.

As always we are truly thankful that Skyy was able to earn $98 this month without lifting a finger and continuing to be a great daughter. She did nothing to earn this money except for make great decisions with past Cash Flow!

Guaranteed Millionaire?

Guarantee yourself Wealth.

The you of today has a great chance to guarantee the you of tomorrow great Wealth. You can virtually guarantee the you of tomorrow Millionaire status just by making conscious decisions with your money. Live below your means, avoid debt and invest the surplus wisely and you can almost guarantee yourself that you’ll be a millionaire one day. Life changes fast. There’s a lot that can happen over one’s lifetime. But who better to deal with the curve balls of fate than someone who has hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of investments in wonderful companies?

If I can guarantee myself millionaire status with just three years of hard work, imagine what you can do for yourself with a lifetime of good decisions. The possibilities are almost limitless. Personally, I don’t plan on stopping this journey tomorrow. My plan is to become financially independent at 40 years old and Live life on my terms. I’ll continue to save aggressively and invest that surplus capital as wisely as I can until then, mostly in high quality companies that pay out rising dividends. This means I have 10 years to build upon my millionaire status. Care to join me?

How about you? Are you guaranteeing yourself that you’ll be a millionaire one day?

Once again every dollar working on my behalf means my family will have to worry about less in the future. Since money doesn’t sleep, get tired, or get sick (unlike humans) I’d rather my money work for me rather than the other way around.

It feels really good to be in a position to continue to put fresh capital to work. Anyone can look at the stock market like any other market or store. It offers a lot of merchandise, some expensive, some cheap. In the end it’s up to the individual to pick what’s best for them!

Purchased 10 shares of Archer Daniel Midland (ADM) on 8/18/17 for $ 42.96 per share

Purchased 5 shares of Clorox (CLX) on 8/21/17 for $ 128.14 per share

Purchased 5 shares of Sysco (SYY) on 8/21/17 for $ 53.90 per share

Purchased 5 shares of  Medtronic (MDT) on 8/23/17 for $ 77.62 per share

I guess I will tell you all now but I have currently reached 50 Companies to the Skyy Fund, at which I have reached one of my most important goals. From this point moving forward I will be Growing the Capital One Investing Account with the Existing positions I currently have which should Grow faster moving forward.

Just to let anyone know that doesn’t know the Tax Bill was recently passed so it looks like The Stock Market as a whole will Party on in the year 2018/ for the foreseeable Future!
