Dividend Income Update – March 2017

Another month has passed by, and it’s time for me to post the dividends that Skyy earned in the month of March. It’s hard to argue the success of long-term dividend growth investing when you can slowly and surely see dividend income rise over time and get closer to covering your family expenses.

I hope these monthly dividend income reports provide inspiration for any investors out there that are just starting out. It shows that it’s possible to one day pay for monthly expenses with dividends, which would provide an investor opportunities and freedom to pursue other interests than full-time work.

What you’ll see below is a list of every dividend Skyy collected over the prior month, which company paid the dividend and the amount of the dividend.

Crazy to think that 3 whole months have already passed in 2017! I honestly feel sometimes that the market is waiting on Trump to actually do something that he promised, but once that is found not to be true there will be a big Drop. I am still trying to get the dividend income over $100 each month, but it might take at least another 5-6 months. You just have to love with each passing week there is Fresh Cash being added to the account.

As always we are truly thankful that Skyy was able to earn $113 this month without lifting a finger and continuing to be a great daughter. She did nothing to earn this money except for make great decisions with past Cash Flow!

Interesting Very interesting the Dow hit 21K that quick after breaking the record for hitting 20K recently. I swear I been hearing that the Dow is overvalued for over a year now. I don’t say it enough on here or on Facebook enough but People who don’t invest are losing out on a lot of Money.

Yes, people have 101 excuses for not investing/growing their own money but why not do it even if you only have a little to invest? Most of us at least save for retirement so why not do at least some on your own. If you know nothing at all at least invest in what you use/eat at home at least you know where your own money is going, but you know what everyone is entitled to their own opinion even if its not the best way of doing things.

As always we are truly thankful that Skyy was able to earn $90 this month without lifting a finger and continuing to be a great daughter. She did nothing to earn this money except for make great decisions with past Cash Flow!

The new year is Finally here! The Dow still has not hit 20K as of yet but might do so in the next month or so. I made some buys at the end of the year that should boost the Dividend Income for the new year and make it past the $1000 mark for income by the end of the year.

Its crazy to think how fast 2016 went past, overall it was a good year and the Skyy Fund saw a nice bump YTD. Hopefully the bull market can continue all the way into 2018 along with the expected Fed rate hikes. (haha) but time will tell.

I still plan on adding to the companies that pay out in Feb., May, Aug.,  and Nov once I can add more money to the account. As always we are truly thankful that Skyy was able to earn $84 this month without lifting a finger and continuing to be a great daughter. December is here at Last and what a Wild ride it has been with all-time highs, Brexit, and Donald Trump as the new president of the United States of America! As you can see above November was a pretty strong month, but I am still working on the average for each month to produce over $100 a month of dividends.

Its funny, because the last update I talked about 2 new purchases I made, but for this update I have already sold NXTD & FNMA for a profit. I been thinking about making a post about all the companies I have sold in the year 2016, I might do it by the end of this year to show where money has been made and lost.

Hopefully in the near future I can start adding some more money to the account and add to my positions that are in Feb., May, Aug., and  Nov. so the Cash can really start piling up in those months. As always we are truly thankful that Skyy was able to earn $80 this month without lifting a finger and continuing to be a great daughter. She did nothing to earn this money except for make great decisions with past capital! Decisions like investing in high quality companies that reward her as a loyal shareholder with a piece of the profit.
