Recent Buys

Once again every dollar working on my behalf means my family will have to worry about less in the future. Since money doesn’t sleep, get tired, or get sick (unlike humans) I’d rather my money work for me rather than the other way around.

It feels really good to be in a position to continue to put fresh capital to work. Anyone can look at the stock market like any other market or store. It offers a lot of merchandise, some expensive, some cheap. In the end it’s up to the individual to pick what’s best for them!

Purchased 12 shares of Green Plains Partners (GPP) on 5/2/17 for $ 20.60 per share

Purchased 3 shares of Starbucks (SBUX) on 5/23/17 for $ 60.95 per share

Purchased 11 shares of Food Flowers  (FLO) on 7/28/17 for $ 17.52 per share

Purchased 10 shares of  Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) on 8/3/17 for $ 42.96 per share

Once again I am playing catch up on the Recent Buys since this is my second post about it in the past 5 months. The markets continue to climb higher as it is less than 3 months to the new year.

I have decided to add four new companies to the family line-up and I plan on acquiring 50 companies by the end of the year if all goes to plan! When its all said and done I want to own 50 solid companies that will pay out solid dividends just about every week of the year. Hopefully things go as planned and moving forward starting in 2018 I will just need to add to any existing companies that have gone below the point that I have acquired them.

I should be able to post another Recent Buys again by the end of this month, if not it will be the beginning of November. Once again here is to a great rest of the year!

Purchased 32 shares of Cornerstone Fund (CLM) on 2/2/17for $ 15.14 per share

Purchased 3 shares of Nike  (NKE) on 4/24/17 for $ 55.60 per share

Purchased 3 shares of Microsoft (MSFT) on 4/24/17 for $ 67.52 per share

Its been a while since I have posted the Recent Buys and much has happened between that time. The past 6 months the Markets have continued to climb higher and honestly no one knows when the next Bear Market will come about.

I have decided to add more shares to the Cornerstone Fund so the account is able to produce more dividends over time. I have also started a small position in Nike (NKE) and Microsoft (MSFT) which I believe will continue to grow and be around for at least the next 15-30 years. They both have wide moats in their respective fields and hopefully they can keep taking advantage of that in the future. Hopefully these last 3 months will be as good as the past 9 months, but only time will tell.

Purchased 40 shares of Aberdeen Income Fund (FAX) on 10/20/16 for $ 4.93 per share

Purchased 75 shares of NXT-ID (NXTD) on 11/3/16 for $ 2.54 per share

Purchased 35 shares of Aberdeen Income Fund (FAX) on 11/28/16 for $ 4.76 per share

It’s the end of March and the markets have recently Hit New Highs and still sitting above 20K. Also the Skyy Fund is chugging along with New Cash being added each week via Dividends.

I have decided to add more shares to the Aberdeen Income Fund(FAX), which has been slowly raising in Dividend Income the past couple of months. I also added 10 more shares to Old Republic(ORI) which has impressed me the past year with some growth for an older insurance company.

The past 2 years since I started on my Dividend Journey the account has been growing between 500-1000 dollars every few months ($100 dollars worth of dividends every month Helps). I have talked to thousands of people on my blog and facebook and I am glad that more people are opening their eyes to investing and thinking outside the box, instead of just the 9-5 (Rat Race). I may write a post about this in the future but until then I will continue to make this Free Cash Flow and here is to a Great rest of 2017 with Trump.

Purchased 21 shares of Cornerstone Fund (CLM) on 9/26/16 for $ 14.86 per share

Well well well here we are at another Recent Buys and the American people have picked Donald Trump as the next American president this November. Its been about 1 week since the elections and the markets have hit all-time highs, wonder how high they will go!

Back in July I initiated a position in the Cornerstone Fund(CLM) and the Aberdeen Income Fund(FAX) and will continue to add Money to these funds. I will continue to do so for the foreseeable future or when one of them breaks the criteria for doing so.

As you can see above I bought 55 shares of FNMA & 140 shares of NXTD. I decided to branch out and try a few companies that don’t pay a dividend. As of right now since Trump has taken office both of those picks have turned out Great. I may hold both for the long term, but currently I have not made a solid decision on that as of yet.  In the end time will tell and let’s hope we can end 2016 strong as we only have about 45 days left.

Purchased 24 shares of Cornerstone Fund (CLM) on 7/11/16 for $ 16.85 per share

Purchased 6 shares of Cornerstone Fund (CLM) on 8/3/16 for $ 17.90 per share

Purchased 107 shares of Aberdeen Income Fund (FAX) on 8/3/16 for $ 5.25 per share

Purchased 35 shares of Frontline (FRO) on 9/13/16 for $ 6.95 per share

Back in July I initiated a position in the Cornerstone Fund(CLM), which is a diversified closed-end investment company which has been around since 1987. I also started a position in the Aberdeen Income Fund(FAX), which is a closed-end bond fund. I have been looking at these 2 for the past few months and decided to finally pull the trigger.

Once again I have decided to add more shares of FRO which might be one of the last for the near future. Frontline which is a tanker company is in a cynical industry and can be hit pretty hard at times. We currently have over 100 shares so I will allow the reinvested dividends to average the cost down for us and will look at them at the end/beginning of next year.

Well we have about 90 days left in 2016 and the market is still holding up pretty strong (Above 18K). Maybe the upcoming election in November will shake things up for us, but hey if not I am ok with that! Once again always remember to allow your Money to work for you instead of you working for it!
