Once again every dollar working on my behalf means my family will have to worry about less in the future. Since money doesn’t sleep, get tired, or get sick (unlike humans) I’d rather my money work for me rather than the other way around.

It feels really good to be in a position to continue to put fresh capital to work. Anyone can look at the stock market like any other market or store. It offers a lot of merchandise, some expensive, some cheap. In the end it’s up to the individual to pick what’s best for them!

Purchased 55 shares of  Fed. National Mortgage (FNMA) on 9/26/16 for $ 1.72 per share

Purchased 35 shares of Aberdeen Income Fund (FAX) on 9/26/16 for $ 5.07 per share

Purchased 140 shares of NXT-ID (NXTD) on 9/26/16 for $ 2.99 per share

Purchased 21 shares of Cornerstone Fund (CLM) on 9/26/16 for $ 14.86 per share

Well well well here we are at another Recent Buys and the American people have picked Donald Trump as the next American president this November. Its been about 1 week since the elections and the markets have hit all-time highs, wonder how high they will go!

Back in July I initiated a position in the Cornerstone Fund(CLM) and the Aberdeen Income Fund(FAX) and will continue to add Money to these funds. I will continue to do so for the foreseeable future or when one of them breaks the criteria for doing so.

As you can see above I bought 55 shares of FNMA & 140 shares of NXTD. I decided to branch out and try a few companies that don’t pay a dividend. As of right now since Trump has taken office both of those picks have turned out Great. I may hold both for the long term, but currently I have not made a solid decision on that as of yet.  In the end time will tell and let’s hope we can end 2016 strong as we only have about 45 days left.

Purchased 24 shares of Cornerstone Fund (CLM) on 7/11/16 for $ 16.85 per share

Purchased 6 shares of Cornerstone Fund (CLM) on 8/3/16 for $ 17.90 per share

Purchased 107 shares of Aberdeen Income Fund (FAX) on 8/3/16 for $ 5.25 per share

Purchased 35 shares of Frontline (FRO) on 9/13/16 for $ 6.95 per share

Back in July I initiated a position in the Cornerstone Fund(CLM), which is a diversified closed-end investment company which has been around since 1987. I also started a position in the Aberdeen Income Fund(FAX), which is a closed-end bond fund. I have been looking at these 2 for the past few months and decided to finally pull the trigger.

Once again I have decided to add more shares of FRO which might be one of the last for the near future. Frontline which is a tanker company is in a cynical industry and can be hit pretty hard at times. We currently have over 100 shares so I will allow the reinvested dividends to average the cost down for us and will look at them at the end/beginning of next year.

Well we have about 90 days left in 2016 and the market is still holding up pretty strong (Above 18K). Maybe the upcoming election in November will shake things up for us, but hey if not I am ok with that! Once again always remember to allow your Money to work for you instead of you working for it!

Purchased 40 shares of Frontline (FRO) on 6/7/16 for $ 9.78 per share

Purchased 10 shares of Kinder Morgan (KMI) on 6/8/16 for $ 18.16 per share

Purchased 30 shares of Chimera (CIM) on 6/14/16 for $ 15.48 per share

Purchased 10 shares of Health Care Partners (HCP) on 6/22/16 for $ 34.22 per share

I have to be honest I am really proud of these four purchases above, they were all purchased from the money I earned from Electro Rent (ELRC). Back in June ELRC had a buyout so I sold the shares and made a $200+ profit along with the initial investment of $1,110.

I decided to add 40 more shares of FRO, because I like the outlook of tankers for the next year. I also had to buy KMI on the dip and it has been treating us pretty well as of today and I think it will generate lots of money in the next few years. For CIM I decided to add 30 more shares, because the dividend will stay stable for the next year along with it paying us $70+ into the account to buy better companies in the future. As for HCP you can never go wrong with adding more shares to boost your income in the future, as they have recently paid out $17 in the month of August.

Hopefully the DOW for the next 4 months can stay strong, but if not I will be ready for the next dip. Remember always allow your Money to work for you instead of you working for it!

Purchased 100 shares of Energy XXI (EXXI) on 4/11/16 for $ 0.61 per share

Purchased 10 shares of Frontline (FRO) on 4/15/16 for $ 7.74 per share

Purchased 10 shares of Enterprise Product Partn. (EPD) on 4/15/16 for $ 24.01 per share

Purchased 30 shares of Frontline (FRO) on 6/1/16 for $ 8.69 per share

At this point I still hate EXXI as I have sold the company at a lost of $720 and this is why you should not have to many speculative plays in your portfolio because loses can/will happen. Enough of that stock!

I have continued to add to my position to Frontline which they have raised their dividend once again and I will continue to take the Dividend as Cash and will invest it in better companies. Hopefully this Tanker stock can keep treating Skyy and I well unlike EXXI. smh I also brought Enterprise Product Partners as a new position and they have already given us a raise! I can honestly see great things happening with this company, but as we all know time will tell. Always allow money to work for you and not the other way around!

Purchased 10 shares of Kinder Morgan (KMI) on 4/1/16 for $ 17.38 per share

I have continued to add to my position to Kinder Morgan and have averaged the price down to the low 20’s. I also have decided to add  a new position with Bank of America which I believe will be a great asset moving forward.

Since Chimera decided to give a special dividend out in March and would be paying out their regular dividend in April I decided with much thought to go ahead and purchase 100 shares of Chimera! Since acquiring more shares I have decided not to reinvest the dividend back into Chimera but to allow the money to be deposited back into the account so I can hunt for better bargains that are in the market.
